If sarcoidosis is affecting the eye…

Sarcoidosis will demand #Due Dillegence

Acute Uveitis

- I was diagnosed with ocular sarcoidosis in my right eye more than 10+ years ago...

Which changed to ...

Silent uveitis, - uveitis (eye inflammation) that lacks typical symptoms such as pain, redness, or light sensitivity.

Ocular sarcoidosis An (Silient Uveitis)
Because it progresses without noticeable signs, regular eye examinations by an --ophthalmologist are crucial for early detection and to prevent potential, permanent vision loss.

What is Silent Uveitis?
(More common in chronic sarcoidosis)

Silent uveitis is a chronic, asymptomatic form of uveitis where the eye appears normal and the patient experiences no symptoms of pain, redness, or blurred vision.

Methotrexate
Mycophenolate Mofetil,
Azathioprine
--Are common examples., used to control both #ocular and #systemic inflammation.
So, I take Methotrexate once a week!
