Here’s What I know …

Sarcoidosis often takes months or years to diagnose💭

—Why?

Sarcoidosis, symptoms mimics other disorders causing symptoms—
that resemble many other medical conditions.

Because, #Sarcoidosis can affect most any organ or body part.

Usually, a diagnosis of sarcoidosis requires —-Ruling out other medical disorders before a diagnosis of sarcoidosis can be made!

Sarcoidosis is known as—
The"great mimicker"

Hence, which requires extensive diagnostic testing.

—Hence, the delay.

▪️▪️▪️For some—

The absence of symptoms does not necessarily indicate the absence of sarcoidosis; rather, it signifies that the —inflammation has not yet —produced —noticeable —issues.

Consistent monitoring and awareness of symptoms & potential symptoms remain crucial for effective management; and diagnoses, an especially diagnoses of potential new sarcoidosis symptoms.

Hence, I was taking medications ergo., treated for sarcoidosis years before; ever getting an official diagnosis that in fact I had sarcoidosis.
