  1. Enlarged and tender lymph nodes in the neck, axillae, and groin

  2. Enlarged lymph nodes in the chest and around the lungs

 

 

Gastrointestinal

  1. Hepatomegaly

  2. Pancreatic sarcoidosis

 

 

Urologic

  1. Decline in renal function

  2. Hypercalciuria

  3. Granulomatous interstitial nephritis

  4. Kidney stone formation

 

 

Musculoskeletal

  1. Swollen and painful joints

  2. Acute and chronic arthritis

  3. Carpal tunnel is more common in patients with sarcoidosis

  4. Pain in the hands, feet, or other bony areas due to the formation of cysts

 

 

Ocular

  1. Red and teary eyes or blurred vision

  2. Anterior and posterior uveitis, retinal vasculitis

 

 

Integumentary

  1. Tender reddish lesions or patches on the skin or hypopigmented areas

  2. Papular and nodular sarcoidosis, nail changes, alopecia

One might think, Oh, I'm good...  All I need to do is take my medication! But, actually with sarcoidosis...  

 

For some people that have sarcoidosis-

 

Even with taking rheumatology medications., auto-immune suppressants or corticosteroids, prednisone medications etc., that treat Sarcoidosis/Sarcoid if you will...  It's  still possible, that the worst can still happen to the... body part/parts (organs) that sarcoidosis affects!
